I know opinion is divided on using carpet to suppress weeds but i found it an absolute godsend. I even managed to get some beans in which kinda gave me some happiness between all the graft
If you do use carpet it is imperative that it is removed should you relinquish your lottie as trying to dig ground with 20 square meters of shag pile underneath is shear hell !!
